This poem is one that has been read at weddings and life celebrations. Before we printed this lithograph Thom hand painted the rainbow on a silk screen black and white print. These earlier images were sold at Celia Hubbard’s gallery in Boston. The circle rainbow is a rainbow seen without a horizon line to divide it. All rainbows are circles. We only see half of it. Like a rainbow we have a spirit half and our here and now half. We also are a full circle rainbow. I love the hand written font Thom used to write his poetry. Printed font is so sharp edged. The softness of each word hand written makes it so special.
