Slice of Rainbow Pie

Paper size 6 X 6, image size 5 x 5. Unsigned Lithograph on Watercolor Paper, 1972

I love this piece. Dieters have a chance with this slice of happiness. My mother was a candy and cake maker, but no pies. I think this was Thom’s way of humoring me on my love of pies. Thom got out his scissors out and cut the slices. He hand sawed wood to match, painted a blue background, glued his print to the front and added a pin to the back. We sold our slices of Rainbow Pie in Provincetown and Woodstock for many years. No weight to gain on this one, only joy and laughter. So who will catch and eat it, you or I?
